6 SIMPLE STEPS TO HELP PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT
/ Wash less. Outerwear rarely needs washing. Instead, we recommend airing and spot-cleaning – two sustainable ways to keep your clothes clean and fresh, whilst also extending their lifespan. Air your clothes outdoors or by an open window.
/ Lower the water temperature. The colder the water, the better it is for the environment and the lifespan of your clothes. Wash at a maximum of 30° whenever possible.
/ Minimise the use of the tumble dryer. Only dry clothes in the tumble dryer that really need it.
/ Use the dry cleaner as little as possible. They use harsh chemicals. Spot-clean and air your clothes instead. Brush suits and coats.
/ Use eco-friendly detergent. For your health, for your skin and to protect our planet.
/ Protect your clothes when eating and drinking. Spills at the dinner table are the most common cause of stained clothes. Use napkins and remind your children to protect their clothes during meals.
