Self-massage-kit - Roxy Ceramics
Hand-crafted and glazed with brush on the Danish island Bornholm by Roxy Ceramics: Self-massage kit consists of a scallop on a pedestal and bowl. Developed with inspiration to cultivate self-love with the Ayurvedic self-massage ritual. Experience how sensual and connecting with nature it is to pour your body or face oil from the scallop into your hand, heated by warm water from the bowl below (read more about the ritual here).
The self-massage kit can be used in many ways: as a bowl, smoothie bowl, soup, for salt, for a beautiful table setting, for storing jewelry, for mixing sugar scrub for the lips, softening Konjac Sponge, as a holder for your face brush and much more.
Why is Roxy Ceramics a product we love?
These objects are specially curated by our founder, Mette Skjærbæk, who had a chance meeting with the owner of Roxy Ceramics, Rosanna, at one of Mette's lectures on the island of Bornholm.
“I have always loved ceramics. For a long time, I've been looking for the first ceramics for Karmameju’s Products we love, and I had no doubt when I saw the captivating little scallop on the pedestal. Rosanna's “Danish nature meets Japanese aesthetics”-inspired objects hit the spot in my love for both. She likes the imperfect, and therefore does not cast, but instead shapes each object by hand. This achieves the Japanese wabi-sabi, the perfectly imperfect, which for me makes every object a small piece of art.” - founder Mette Skjærbæk
