Aftersun hydration ritual
A hydrating and reparing ritual for sun-kissed skin
- Make yourself a cool and hydrating drink. We recommend to drink Gel water or Electrolyte water with lime, Himalaya salt and sugar when our bodies crave water the most. Both are said to be deeply stabilizing for the body’s hydration levels.
- Do a gentle yet thorough face cleanse or double-cleanse of the skin with nurturing DAZE cleansing lotion or MUSE cleansing balm and our soft konjac sponge. Massage the cleanser on the skin and rinse off with water and konjac sponge in circular movements. You can also choose to rinse the cleanser off in the shower.
- Take a refreshing lukewarm shower to cool down the body and wash off the SPF, sweat, salt and dirt from the skin. Besides the cleansing action of the water, a shower after a long day of sunshine can feel like a cleansing experience for the soul as well. If you feel for it, alternate between cold and lukewarm water.
- If possible take your shower outside or open a window to feel a cool breeze from the wind on your skin.
- Wash your body with our organic Aloe Vera-based PROTECT body wash. Inhale the soothing lavender aromatherapy from the palms of your hands with three deep breaths before washing the body with the SLS-free foam.
- Gently pad the skin dry with a soft towel. Avoid rubbing as skin can be fragile after sun.
- Lather your entire body and face in our barrier-repairing HERO pH solution to help restore and provide the skin with the optimal potential to help the skins natural hydration levels.
