Summer ritual for the face
Layers are for fall. Shedding them are for summer. Both in terms of clothes but also your face routine. Super rich creams can seem like a hassle when they are being sweated off in the sun, or melted on your pillow at night. How do you find the right balance? Here are our best tips for your summer ritual - from morning to night.

What I’ll be doing this summer
It's time to fill your cup. The summer holidays provide space to fill the energy stores with everything your heart desires. We asked founder, Mette Skjærbæk, about her summer holiday plans, which of course are centered on DO YOU in all sorts of guises, but which all have in common to find the inner sense of self - whether it's through books, social relationships, podcasts or dreams.

Good morning sunshine ritual
A recipe to welcome the new sunny season. Roll gently out of bed, open a window and breathe in the crispy spring air. Mindfully reach for the sun by stretching your body. Maybe do a Sun Salutation yoga pose to welcome the new day.

Aftersun hydration ritual
Hydration for sun-kissed skin. Make yourself a cool and hydrating drink. We recommend to drink Gel water or Electrolyte water with lime, Himalaya salt and sugar when our bodies crave water the most. Both are said to be deeply stabilizing for the body’s hydration levels.

Q&A about SUN
Do you know the benefits of choosing mineral sunfilters? Do you know the difference between SPF 30 and 50? And can you get break-outs from sunscreen? We have gathered our most frequently asked questions about suncare.

The Danish wellness pioneer’s original morning routine
Movement, sunlight, towel rubbing, breathing exercises and cold baths are today considered quite common elements in wellness but at the turn of the 20th century this wasn’t common knowledge.

Alkaline smoothie
An alkaline body is a happy body, and when the body is comfortable and the skin feels good. The Alkaline Smoothie contains foods that promote an alkaline intestinal system, which is anti-inflammatory and boosts your body with vitamins and minerals.

Light affects your skin, even when the sun goes down
UV radiation is a part of the sun’s natural energy that reaches the earth as invisible ultraviolet rays. These energizing rays are the ones making us suntanned and contribute with important vitamin D.

Why I only want to use mineral UV filters
Sun protection is the product that most of our retailers and consumers have requested from me over time, and as a product developer in the skincare industry, the SUN range has also been the most difficult challenge to solve. Because how do you crack the code on what I haven't been able to find on the skin care shelves myself?

The only one in the world
My most important job in the skincare industry is to improve your skin. This is always the foundation of my product development. The story about HERO, a one-of-a-kind-product in the world, is the symbol of exactly that.
