Prioritising smaller production volumes allows us to offer fresh skincare products without high doses of preservatives. We develop our formulas in a way that naturally minimises the need for preservatives.

Where possible, we use antioxidants as natural preservatives. They slow down the natural oxidation process, thereby naturally extending the shelf life of the products.

All of our water-based products are preserved to prevent microbial growth, as water and other aqueous liquids create an environment where harmful bacteria, mould, yeast and fungi can develop. To counteract this, we use the gentlest of antimicrobial preservatives. We do not use unnecessarily high doses of preservatives, so the products must be stored in a cool place, away from sunlight and used within 24 months of the date of manufacture. The ‘Best Before’ information appears on the bottom of all products.
