Let it shine meditation

A meditation that fills the body with sunshine

/ Start by sitting comfortably upright with a straight spine. Make sure the position feels nice and relaxed.

/ Close your eyes and let your hands rest in your lap or on your thighs.

/ Notice your breathing. Without judging it, notice how you breathe in and exhale again.

/ Imagine you have a small sphere of light inside your heart. Like a switch on a lamp, you turn on this light.

/ Let the light become so powerful that it fills your whole body.

/ Feel how you shine all the way to the fingertips.

/ Repeat this mantra for yourself: "Let it shine".

/ Sit as long as you like.

/ Finish by breathing deeply, and with your exhalation, open your eyes.

/ Go out into the world, shining.

You can do this exercise as often as you like.
