Always on the quest for optimised and natural skin health, I endeavored into a challenge with myself: I have to give face yoga a 30-day chance. I need to know if it works.

Most people who have had to put on sunscreen on children know the phrase all too well: I don’t want sunscreen on! They twist and turn, will not stand still and yes, sometimes they shout and scream. The dear little ones. And I do understand why.

DO YOU - Always. In a time where we are overloaded with messages about what we ought to do, I believe in one thing only: DO YOU. Being some 7.8 billion people in the world, there must be some 7.8 billion ways to do what’s right.

I practice DO YOU. I am not a pillar of manifestation of DO YOU. I practice. As a mother, businesswoman, family person, devoted friend and girlfriend etc. I periodically find it hard to even feel what my desires actually are. So, I practice.

I have always been fascinated by the important role of water for human beings. Water, oxygen and light are the primary sources of life, and with a very high component of water in the human body, water is an important element for our well-being.

When it comes to the body, I am constantly impressed by how much it’s capable of coping. It is amazing what the mechanisms inside our body can handle, if we just give it a bit of tender loving care.

Sometimes it’s the small discoveries that make the biggest changes to our lives, and that’s how it was for me with water. I can clearly remember the day...

A few years ago, I realised that I wasn’t getting the six pieces of fruit and veg recommended by the Danish Health Authority into my children every day.

I’m not keen on rules that dictate what you “must” and “mustn’t” do, but I like the idea of making a pact with ourselves.

I know! It’s not a nice way of putting it! Calling the skin “leather”, or comparing our delicate skin to a boot, but I love metaphors.

Sometimes we experience things that change our view of the world. I LOVE those experiences! The ones where I suddenly understood something better than before...
